Child Care In Calgary Announces Summer And Fall Openings

June 14, 2019 - /PressAdvantage/ - 2000 Days Pre-Kindergarten Calgary in Calgary, Alberta has announced that they have openings for both summer and fall enrollment. 2000 Days child care is a full service day care center that provides a curriculum that is designed to help prepare children for when they enter into elementary school.

Daniel Kepka, a spokesperson for the center says, “We are pleased to announce that we have openings for summer and fall enrollment. We provide indoor and outdoor activity areas combined with a curriculum that will help prepare children for when they enter into kindergarten, sparking a love of learning with each child that we teach.”

Kepka says that the center offers security that help to put parents minds at ease. Their fenced in building premises ensure complete safety for children. Aside from the outdoor play areas, the facility also has a 700 square foot gym that enables active play even when the weather outdoors does not cooperate.

“We ensure that children receive enough active time throughout the day while still having time for indoor learning,” says Kepka. “Our Calgary daycare is more than merely a babysitting service. We take great pride in the learning that our children experience and our facility is set up just like a school so children get used to the atmosphere of being in school, which better prepares them for when they actually enter into elementary school.”

The day care center provides a more than 5,000 square foot building with a 2,000 square foot outdoor play area. Half of the outdoor area is grass covered for outdoor play while the other half is asphalt for outdoor sports and other activities. Kepka states that in addition to their space and completely fenced in area, the facility also has a security system that includes automated key FOB doors that keep students secure.

“We know that parents today worry about their children, particularly in school settings given the recent news stories related to schools,” says Kepka. “We take every step to ensure the complete safety of our students.”

Kepka adds that enrollment includes meals, which are prepared by the school’s in-house chef and designed to provide nutrition to children. The facility is located just a few minutes from the Chinook Station LRT and downtown Alberta. The day care facility is a family owned and operated business that focuses on helping to prepare children for kindergarten. Their curriculum is designed to nurture and teach children from the age of one through five.

The curriculum aside, the facility also provides a number of activities that are designed to keep children moving and healthy. Playball is a professional sports program adopted by the school that teaches students how to throw and kick a ball and is designed to keep them active. Another program, Kindermusik, is designed to teach children to love music and how to play a variety of different musical instruments. Jolly Phonics, various dance programs and yoga are also offered at the facility, as are different language lessons in Mandarin, Spanish and French.

“It’s just a world of fun learning,” says one parent whose child is currently enrolled in the school. “We are so blessed to have this facility to help teach our little one and prepare her for elementary school.”

TOKYO — It was the week after Siya Kolisi's fourth birthday when Nelson Mandela presented Springboks captain Francois Pienaar with the Webb Ellis Cup in a defining moment for rugby, and for South Africa. There was no television at his home, he recalls, so he had to go to a tavern to watch John Smit lift the trophy after beating England in the 2007 final in Paris.
